| re:play is an immersive, multimedia-driven youth conference aimed at teens in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The conference has three over-arching goals: to inform, to inspire and to engage our local youth. Agenda includes live speakers, videos, music and networking activities focused on creativity, innovation, technology, leadership, education, work, entrepreneurship and culture. re:play will have an intimate, yet relaxed atmosphere in the spirit of "play." Teens and conference host, Ken Polotan, will get to explore compelling ideas via various media and then chart a roadmap of action items. The conference will deliver a vibrant platform for healthy discussion and forum for exchange of ideas.
Speakers get to deliver their presentation for eighteen (18) minutes, similar to the TEDConference format. Teens also get to interact with speakers during an informal panel interview during lunch. Attendance to the conference is free. The conference, the first of its kind in the area, is partnering with local organizations including G.Wiz/Science Museum, Community Youth Development (CYD), Young Professionals Group (Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce), ManaTEENS, Ringling College among others. This one-of-a-kind of conference is being produced by seventhstorm LLC, a strategy and brand narrative company in cooperation with Taking Back Lives, a non-profit organization based here in Sarasota, FL. Thank you to all who attended re:play! We'll make sure to keep you posted about future re:plays |
